Advantages:

Disadvantages:

(1) According to the physiological structure of the human body, the intestinal patency is reduced when sitting, and the abdominal pressure is reduced. If you encounter poor bowel movements, it is more difficult to stimulate intestinal excretion;

(2) Because the sitting position is more comfortable, people will do some other activities when they go to the bathroom. Such as reading books, smoking cigarettes, playing with mobile phones. This can lead to prolonged stool sitting and an increased risk of hemorrhoids;

(3) The skin is in direct contact with the seat when sitting on the toilet. If there are bacteria and parasites attached to the toilet, it may cause cross infection.
